Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Position Available in Royse City, TX

Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Royse City, TX. This position offers the chance to work within a supportive school environment, providing vital speech therapy services to students. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to facilitate the speech and language development of students, enhancing their academic and social skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students with various speech and language disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that cater to the specific needs of each student.
  • Collaborate with school personnel and parents to create a cohesive support system that fosters munication skills among students.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and remendations for student support services.
  • Maintain accurate and prehensive records of student progress and therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology or equivalent field.
  • Valid Texas state license as an SLP.
  • Certificate of Clinical petence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA or eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
  • Experience in a school setting is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal and munication skills, capable of building relationships with students, staff, and parents.
