Maintenance Technician

Troubleshoots, assembles, installs, tests, and maintains using all necessary tools to keep equipment available and capable. Learns and understands the protocols of working safely with electricity and other energy sources with industrial equipment. May work independently and instruct, or coach others.
Key Responsibilities- Safety
- Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations. Use appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Support equipment uptime and downtime failure analysis.
- Delivery
- Fully proficient performing troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of equipment
- Perform and documents preventive, emergency, corrective and predictive maintenance activities.
- Maintains clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping and machine cleaning tasks.
- Performs other miscellaneous duties as required to meet production goals.
- Identify and reduce manufacturing constraints.
- Schedule maintenance activities around production requirements.
- Solve problems and improve processes.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Quality
- Applies high standards of workmanship and craftsmanship.
- Support equipment uptime and downtime failure analysis.
- Performs work in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and specifications using various tools, measuring and testing instruments.
- Provide feedback into the Preventive Maintenance system.
- Follows all process documentation and quality procedures.
- Raises issues to minimize cost and quality exposures.
- Performs quality inspections.
- Communicates effectively with the assigned team and with all support teams..

- Manufacturing Analysis Led Design - Uses digital tools to model and simulate manufacturing processes, equipment and performance to make data driven decisions before changes are made and to drive Design for Manufacturing and other continuous improvements.
- Manufacturing Prognostics - Applies prognostics techniques by collecting real time equipment conditions and then use advanced analytics and artificial intelligence technologies to project future failures to eliminate unplanned equipment and systems down time.
- Data Mining - Extracts insights from data by identifying relationships and patterns through use of a suite of data exploration and data visualization techniques to understand the underlying structure of the data and enable sound conclusions upon model building.
- Drawing Interpretation - Integrates product design and manufacturing equipment engineering drawings to support the design and development of an optimal manufacturing process that meets product design specifications.
- Problem Solving - Solves problems using a systematic analysis process by leveraging industry standard methodologies to create problem traceability and protect the customer; determines the assignable cause; implements robust, data-based solutions; identifies the systemic root causes and recommended actions to prevent problem reoccurrence.

College, university, or degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) or related field, or equivalent required.
Certified Green Belt preferred (Can be General, PPS, or 6S stats); Lean Manufacturing training preferred.
Significant relevant experience, including supervisory experience, required.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
