Position Overview:

Sunbelt Staffing is looking for dedicated Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join our team in Winthrop Harbor, Illinois for the 2024-2025 school year. This is a full-time, K-12 position with multiple openings, ideal for professionals who are passionate about helping students succeed by improving their speech and language skills. What Youll Be Doing:
  • Therapy Services: Provide both individual and group therapy to K-12 students, focusing on articulation, language skills, fluency, and social communication.
  • Assessments: Conduct thorough evaluations of students speech and language abilities, identify areas of need, and design personalized therapy plans.
  • Progress Tracking: Regularly assess student progress, adapting therapy methods and goals to ensure consistent growth.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with school staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams to provide a holistic approach to therapy, ensuring students receive comprehensive support.
Who Were Looking For:
  • Active Illinois SLP License required (must be licensed to practice in Illinois)
  • Experience with K-12 students is preferred
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively manage a diverse caseload
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, parents, and school staff
