Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Radiation Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for administering prescribed doses of ionizing radiation in accordance with physicians’ written prescriptions and established departmental policies and procedures. You will also perform adjuvant procedures to assist in patient care management. As a vital member of our team, you will contribute to a culture of patient-focused, whole-person care, and help make a positive impact in our community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed radiation doses based on physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Perform radiation therapy treatments and operate equipment such as linear accelerators.
• Assist in the management of patient care through adjuvant procedures that enhance treatment outcomes.
• Ensure that treatments are delivered safely and accurately in line with radiation safety standards.
• Provide compassionate care and support to patients, addressing their physical and emotional needs during therapy.
• Document treatments and maintain accurate patient records.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an approved American Registry of Radiologic Therapy Program or equivalent education/experience.
• National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) upon hire.
• California Certification in Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology or Therapeutic Radiologic Technology upon hire.
• 1+ years of experience preferred, but entry-level candidates with the required education and certification will be considered.
• Occasional travel may be required for training or other duties
