As a Protocols Software Engineer, you will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of our architecture and services, including software protocol stacks (TCP/IP, LTP, Bundle Protocol), CCSDS convergence layers, network routing protocols, and communication protocols, while also preparing technical documentation and collaborating with both internal teams and external partners.

Job Details



A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Network Engineering, or a related field.

At least 5 years of experience in software development using programming languages such as C, C++, Rust, Python, and other scripting tools.

Proficient in working with and developing for Unix/Linux Operating Systems, as well as RTOS and VxWorks environments.

Strong understanding of internetworking protocols, particularly the TCP/IP suite.

Familiarity with software development methodologies and tools, including Agile and DevOps, with a creative approach to problem-solving, software quality, and testing.

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, GitLab, Docker, Confluence, Jira, and SQL databases.

Preferred knowledge of IETF and CCSDS Standards, Delay Tolerant Networking, and Bundle Protocols.

Preferred familiarity with terrestrial, radio, satellite, and optical communications.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with effective organizational abilities.

Ability and willingness to work under tight deadlines in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.

Preferred experience in software development for space-related applications.
