Job Description

Responsible for assisting with the overall safe, efficient and continuous operation of assigned blending responsibilities and equipment on a daily basis, based on company standards. Ensure that quality products are produced in the appropriate quantity and within the established guidelines. Work as a productive leader/member of the manufacturing team and independently. Keep blending equipment sanitized. Maintain and monitor water systems and waste water disposal. Monitor all production to ensure requirements are met. ***Significant physicality to role including continuously lifting 50lb throughout the duration of the 12 hour shift.***

  • Perform cleaning and sanitization of process equipment and blending areas.
  • Conduct chemical raw material inventories as needed.
  • Perform written and verbal communication with Quality Assurance and Manufacturing personnel using process measurement data recorded in Quality Windows and Out-of-Specification (OOS) variable/attribute testing when necessary.
  • Place all non-conforming items on hold using company Hold/Reject process.
  • Assist in the root cause determination, corrective action taken, and documentation process.
  • Comply with all processes and procedures for all applicable regulatory agencies.
  • Proper handling and disposal of chemicals and understanding the GHS codes
  • A working understanding of the Shop Orders and Bill of Materials.
  • Understand and comply with all lockout/tag-out procedures.
  • Must work in a safe and ethical manner at all times.
  • Follow all sanitary practices for sampling of process equipment, materials and assets.
  • Trained and qualified to perform work on the following laboratory equipment for solution testing:
    • pH meter
    • Chlorine meter
Hard Skills
  • Mathematically competent
  • Computer literate
  • Experience in chemical industry preferred

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Work Environment

Temperature controlled manufacturing setting.
