Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist

Location: Lindenwold, New Jersey

Position Overview:

Lindenwold Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. The Speech-Language Pathologist will be responsible for providing diagnostic and therapeutic services to students with speech, language, munication, and swallowing disorders. The ideal candidate will be mitted to student success and will contribute to a positive and inclusive educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct prehensive evaluations to diagnose speech, language, munication, and swallowing disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the needs of each student.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and integrate therapy goals into the educational setting.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and services provided.
  • Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and other team meetings as needed.
  • Stay current with best practices and trends in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Certificate of Clinical petence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Valid New Jersey state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certification from the New Jersey Department of Education as a Speech-Language Specialist or Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Previous experience in a school setting is preferred.
  • Strong munication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Required Licensure and Certifications:
  • State Licensure: Must hold a valid Speech-Language Pathology license issued by the New Jersey Department of Law and Public Safety.
  • Professional Certification: Must possess the Certificate of Clinical petence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • Educator Certification: Must hold a valid New Jersey Educational Services Certificate with a Speech-Language Specialist endorsement or a Speech-Language Pathologist certificate.
