Travel OR RN Circulator for Detroit, MI

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operating Room (OR) Circulating RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Detroit, MI. Detroit, a city known for its rich history, thriving arts scene, and iconic music and automotive culture.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the nursing care of patients during surgical procedures in a circulating capacity.
- Ensure the operating room is sterile and properly prepared with all necessary equipment and supplies.
- Monitor patients for changes in vital signs and overall condition during surgery.
- Collaborate with the surgical team, including surgeons and anesthesiologists, to ensure efficient and safe operations.
- Document patient information, procedure details, and interventions accurately in the EMR system.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care and education to patients and their families.
Requirements:
- Active RN license in Michigan.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent OR Circulating experience.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Proficiency in various surgical procedures, including general, ortho, neuro, and vascular surgeries.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure under pressure.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
