Occupational Therapist DeKalb, IL
Position Overview:
We're seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team at the Early Learning and Development Center in DeKalb, Illinois This full-time position (part-time options also considered) offers a fantastic opportunity to work with early childhood and PreK students, supporting their growth and development. Youll make a significant impact by helping young learners improve their motor skills, sensory processing, and daily functioning.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and assessments for early childhood and PreK students.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
  • Provide direct therapy services to support motor skills, sensory integration, and daily activities.
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation of progress.

Qualifications:

  • Illinois Occupational Therapist license.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Experience with early childhood or PreK students preferred, but not required.

Position Details:

  • Classroom: Early Childhood/PreK caseload.
  • Hours per Week: Full-Time, 40 hours per week (part-time options available).
  • Weekly Pay: Competitive salary, based on experience.
  • Benefits: Comprehensive package including Dental, Medical, Vision, and 401K plan.
  • Contract Duration: ASAP through 5/23/25, with the option to extend.
