Remote Speech-Language Pathologist Opportunity

VocoVision is collaborating with a fantastic school district in the New Rochelle, NY area, seeking a remote Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a part-time position for the 2024-2025 academic year. Candidates must have prior experience in school settings to qualify for this remote role. The district is eager to fill this position quickly, so dont hesitate to apply for immediate consideration

You do not need to reside in New York to apply; however, you must hold a license for both your home state and New York.

Job Overview:
  • Position Type: Part-time for the 2024-2025 School Year
  • Work Schedule: 3 days per week
  • Scheduling: Specifics will be discussed during the interview
  • Caseload: Varied age groups and needs
  • Compensation: $46-$48 per hour, paid weekly
  • Responsibilities Include: Direct and indirect service provision
  • Employment Type: Independent contractor role
  • Requirement: Professional liability insurance needed upon acceptance
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct remote evaluations and assessments for speech, voice, hearing, and language challenges.
  • Develop tailored intervention programs to address the unique communication needs of each student, focusing on language development, articulation, and social skills through virtual platforms.
  • Collaborate with educators and other school personnel to implement effective interventions remotely.
Experience Required:
  • A minimum of two years in a school-based environment.
Required Certifications:
  • Valid New York Speech-Language Pathologist License
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Teaching certification from the New York State Education Department (NYSED)
  • Current state clearances (including fingerprints, TB testing if needed, background checks, etc.)
