Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant Needed Near Springfield, MA

Location: Palmer, MA

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our team in Palmer, MA. This role offers the flexibility of full-time or part-time hours, allowing you to balance your professional and personal commitments. You will work collaboratively with school district staff to provide essential services to students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students' needs and develop individualized therapy plans.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance students' functional skills and independence.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student development.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress.
  • Participate in meetings and training sessions as required.

Qualifications:

  • Active COTA license in Massachusetts.
  • Proven experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Caseload: The specific caseload will be discussed during the interview process with the school district.
