Join Our Team as a Certified Nursing Assistant in Lake Ariel, PA

Overview:
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in a school-based setting. The CNA will be responsible for providing health support and care to students with medical needs, assisting school nurses, and promoting a safe and healthy school environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Student Health Care: Provide basic nursing care to students, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with chronic health conditions.
  • Support: Collaborate with the school nurse to implement individualized health plans and support students with special health needs.
  • Emergency Response: Assist with emergency medical situations and provide first aid as needed.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and confidential health records for students, including documentation of incidents, treatments, and communications with parents or guardians.

Qualifications:

  • Certification: Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in state
  • Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred; experience in a school environment is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality, and proficiency in basic medical procedures.
  • Attributes: Compassionate, reliable, and able to work effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
