Job Description

Plastic Manufacturing Associate will be working in a clean room environment producing and packaging plastic parts. These parts range in size, with some as small as an inch long. Associates need to work safely and within clean room regulations, following specific quality standards as they inspect and package products. Packaging equipment will feed the plastics area, and the associate will visually inspect and package parts, inspect boxes/labels to ensure correct placement. If any quality issue arises, the associate must bring it to the attention of the quality team. Basic troubleshooting on equipment may be required at times.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Work Environment

SHIFT: 1st - 6:30am-3pm M-F ($19.56) 2nd - 2:30pm-11pm M-F ($20.93) 3rd - 10:30PM-7AM M-F ($21.52) Overtime in plastics is mandatory when needed, often including Saturdays. Expect 45-50 hours per week. BREAKS: Two 15 min. breaks + 30 min lunch. Breaks are not at set times; coordination with team members is required. LAYOUT: 19 total employees on each shift + supervisors & managers. PPE required: hair net, beard net/face covering, shoe covers, lab gown, safety glasses, gloves. No phones allowed in the packaging cell. The facility is monitored 24/7 with a security team on site.
