Job Description

We are looking for an Inspector with experience inspecting small parts. The position offers a competitive hourly rate of $20-$21 and follows a 1st shift schedule from 5am-3:30pm, Monday through Thursday. The company is a leader in manufacturing electrical feedthroughs, opto-electronic windows, and various ceramic to metal seals, bonds, and packages.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect parts per drawings and requirements to ensure conformity.
  • Generate non-conforming reports when parts do not meet specifications.
  • Use various inspection tools such as helium leak testers, calipers, and optical comparators.
  • Read and understand drawings.
  • Carry out daily and weekly tasks.
  • Help troubleshoot and source experts when needed.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working area.
  • Participate in required company training.
  • Conduct detailed inspections of small, precision metallic and ceramic components for use in medical, defense, and industrial applications.
Essential Skills
  • 2-3 years of QC Inspector or medical device experience working with very small parts.
  • Experience using microscopes for small parts inspection.
  • Proficiency in reading and writing in English.
  • Ability to read and interpret SOPs, blueprints, and instructions.
  • GD&T experience is highly preferred.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Comfortable with a slower, more meticulous process as this is not high volume production.
  • Familiarity with ITAR regulations.
