Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Buena Park, California. The selected candidate will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct account reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliation to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
• Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring all business transactions are recorded.
• Conduct regular ledger procedures and prepare monthly closing processes.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and other relevant software for data entry and management.
• Perform bank reconciliations regularly to ensure accuracy in financial statements.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of Excel-based financial models.
• Manage and maintain financial record systems in accordance with appropriate protocols.
• Analyze financial reports for discrepancies and other issues that should be brought to the CFO's attention.
• Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
• Participate in financial standards setting and forecast process.

• Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as Sr. Accountant

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations is required

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Excel Formulas is required

• Experience in Month End Close process is necessary

• Must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Familiarity with accounting software and databases is a plus

• Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

• Strong time management and organizational skills.
