Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and passionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. This full-time remote position offers a unique opportunity for professionals eager to create a significant impact while working with K-12 students throughout North Carolina.

Position Details:

  • Caseload: Students in grades K-12
  • Duration: Entire academic year (2024-2025)
  • Contract Type: 1099

Essential Duties:

  • Conduct thorough assessments for students experiencing speech and language challenges.
  • Develop and implement customized treatment plans tailored to individual student needs.
  • Facilitate engaging virtual therapy sessions, providing continuous support and encouragement.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and track student progress regularly.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to optimize educational outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology or a related discipline.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is essential.
  • Valid license as a Speech Language Pathologist in North Carolina.
  • Experience working with K-12 populations is preferred.
  • Familiarity with teletherapy practices is advantageous but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage students effectively in a virtual setting.

Additional Requirements:

  • Candidates must obtain liability insurance prior to beginning the role.
  • Successful completion of a technology assessment to evaluate internet speed and Zoom capabilities is required.
