Job Description

CNC Mill Machinist | 1st shift | $24-$32/hour | North Canton, OH

- Read blueprints, job orders, tooling instructions, or standard charts to determine product specifications, work holding arrangement, cutting speeds, feed rates, and cutting tools to be used.

- Use CNC machine control to set spindle speeds, feed rates, and machine movements to produce parts per provided designed mold components for specified operations.

- Program CNC machine control manually or using CAD/CAM software.

- Verify conformance of turned work-pieces to specifications using optical comparators, micrometers, and vision systems.

- Decide on station and timing of each operation to assure efficient use of tools and time.

- Set up all tooling to perform operations.

- Set up bar feeder for continuous operation.

- Compute such data as dimensions, rotation speeds, and feed rates.

- Perform required data collection and record maintenance.

  • CNC Machining with CNC Mills (Okuma preferred)
  • Machine edits, setups, changeovers, speeds/feeds
  • Calipers/micrometers
  • Job Shop experience
  • Programming Skills with CAD or similar software

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in North Canton, Ohio.

Work Environment

Manufacture Tooling and Molds at Canton for their other locations. Also, assist with the manufacturing of their pharmaceutical products.

- Climate-controlled facility and very clean.

- Newest and most up-to-date equipment on the market.

- Aiming to accommodate individuals to ensure happiness and maximize productivity.

- Expected to work 10 hours most days.

- Will get at least 50 hours per week or more; very rare to get less.
