Job Description

In this role, you will be performing essential tire technician duties including tire balancing, tire installation, installing new tire tracks, tire repairs, and routine tire rotations. You will also be responsible for mounting and dismounting tires, as well as stacking tires. The role includes working on trucks, changing brakes, oil, and tires on trucks that haul livestock and other materials.

Responsibilities
  • Perform tire balancing and installation
  • Install new tire tracks
  • Conduct tire repairs and routine tire rotations
  • Mount and dismount tires
  • Stack tires efficiently
  • Change brakes and oil on trucks
  • Work on trucks that haul livestock and other materials
Essential Skills
  • 6+ months of general labor experience
  • 6+ months of using hand tools
  • 1+ years of experience working in an auto shop
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with power tools and pneumatics
  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance and installation
  • Ability to read blueprints
Work Environment

This role is based in a large warehouse with hundreds of tire treads. You will work alongside a team of four other people, depending on the department (warehouse, car side, semi side). The shift is from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
