Location: Hollis, NH
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic School Paraprofessional to join our team in Hollis, NH. This full-time position involves providing support to students and teachers in the classroom, assisting with educational and behavioral needs, and contributing to a positive and productive learning environment. The ideal candidate will work closely with students to help them succeed academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers with classroom instruction and support student learning.
- Work one-on-one with students or in small groups to reinforce lessons and provide additional support.
- Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
- Support students with special needs by implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and providing accommodations.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- Perform clerical tasks as needed, such as preparing materials and maintaining records.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associates degree or higher preferred
- Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow directions
