Are you a driven and experienced Project Engineer who thrives on challenges and has a passion for data center construction? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you Our organization, a leading name in the construction industry, is seeking a dedicated and innovative Project Engineer with a focus on Data Center construction. This is a permanent role where you will play a crucial part in the construction of state-of-the-art, mission-critical data centers. You will have the chance to work on ground-up construction projects, leveraging your skills and expertise to contribute to our ongoing success.
Responsibilities:
As a Project Engineer for Data Center Construction, you will be responsible for the following:
1. Overseeing all engineering aspects of data center construction projects from inception to completion.
2. Collaborating with project managers, architects, and other team members to design efficient and reliable data centers.
3. Ensuring all construction activities comply with project specifications, building codes, and safety standards.
4. Reviewing and approving project plans and blueprints, identifying potential issues and proposing solutions.
5. Coordinating with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and equipment.
6. Conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality of workmanship.
7. Troubleshooting any technical issues that arise during construction, implementing effective solutions promptly.
8. Preparing and presenting project updates and reports to stakeholders.
9. Continually seeking opportunities to improve processes and technologies to enhance the efficiency and reliability of data centers.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Project Engineer, specifically in data center construction or mission-critical facilities.
3. Proven experience in ground-up construction projects.
4. Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, safety standards, and building codes.
5. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Proficiency in using project management software and tools.
7. Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues promptly.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
9. A strong commitment to delivering high-quality work on time and within budget.
