Job Title: Payroll Assistant
Location: Avenel, NJ
Type of Employment: Temp to Permanent
In Office/Hybrid/Remote: 100% in Office
Hourly Rate: $20/hr
Job Summary:
LHH is working with a trucking company to hire a temp to permanent Payroll Assistant. This is an entry level role in which the team will train the individual on payroll and how to use ADP. The qualified candidate should have strong data entry skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office. The hours are Monday through Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM.

Responsibilities:
· Input hours that drivers worked into ADP
· Enter driver milage information into the system
· Process payroll for 16 terminals, 82 employees, weekly
· Process and mail checks out
· Assist in the transition to a different payroll process in the future
· Other duties as assigned by the Payroll Manager
Required Experience:
· High school diploma
· Strong data entry skills, accurate and detailed
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
· Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
· Ability to learn new systems with ease
· Reliable, prompt and eager to learn
Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
