ProCare Therapy is seeking an energetic Psychologist to join us for the 2024-2025 academic year. The district provides exceptional support for both staff and students. Job Details:
  • Onsite near the Van Buren, Arkansas area
  • Start ASAP
  • 37.5 guaranteed service hours per week
  • # students/sites and caseload information will be discussed further on interview with special services director

Requirements:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
  • Active ArkansasState School Psychologist License or eligibility for licensure
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices for assessment, intervention, and consultation in schools
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to determine students' academic, behavioral, emotional, and social strengths and needs
  • Develop and implement evidence-based interventions and strategies to improve students' academic and social-emotional functioning
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create positive learning environments and support student success
  • Provide crisis intervention and counseling services to students as needed
  • Participate in school-wide initiatives to promote positive behavior support, mental health awareness, and academic achievement
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation of all services provided
