ProCare Therapy is hiring Special Education Teachers for multiple openings in Grosse Pointe, MI. Join a dedicated team committed to fostering success for students with diverse needs. These full-time positions are available for immediate start and offer the chance to work in well-supported MOCI and ASD programs.
Position Details- Location: Grosse Pointe, MI
- Schedule: Full-time
- Duration: ASAP May 30, 2025
- Openings:
- MOCI Program: 1 teacher for the Middle School level
- ASD Program: 3 teachers for the High School level
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Provide engaging, differentiated instruction for students with Moderate Cognitive Impairments (MOCI) or Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD).
- Collaborate with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families to foster student growth.
- Monitor and document student progress to inform instructional adjustments.
- Manage classroom behaviors using evidence-based strategies to create a positive learning environment.
- Must hold an active Michigan Special Education License (screenshot of current license required with application).
- Experience in MOCI or ASD programs preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
- $32+ per hour (Varies depending on experience).
- Weekly pay via direct deposit.
