Speech-Language Pathologist &Speech-Language Pathology Assistant

Soliant is excited to collaborate with a school district in St. Joseph, TX, in the search for passionate professionals to join their team as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).

Location: St. Joseph, TX

Job Description for SLP:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to students across various grade levels.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech and language disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and parents.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to support student progress and achievement.
  • Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student progress.

Requirements for SLP:

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or munication Disorders.
  • Texas Speech-Language Pathology License (or eligibility to obtain).
  • Certificate of Clinical petence (CCC) from ASHA preferred.
  • Experience in school settings is advantageous.

Job Description for SLPA:

  • Assist the SLP in providing speech and language therapy services to students.
  • Conduct therapy sessions under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
  • Support in conducting assessments and maintaining documentation of student progress.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to implement therapy goals.

Requirements for SLPA:

  • Bachelors Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
  • Texas Speech-Language Pathology Assistant License (or eligibility to obtain).
  • Experience in educational or clinical settings is beneficial.
