Job Description

We are currently searching for Packaging Operators/ Material Handlers. Reporting to the Shift Lead Production Supervisor, you will package finished PVC pipe in proper crate quantities for shipment. This is an assignment that is projected to last 6 weeks only.

Responsibilities
  • Perform inspections of the product for proper print line and quality specifications.
  • Package finished pipe in proper crate quantities.
  • Maintain and clean up production and storage areas.
  • Know and follow plant safety rules and wear proper PPE (safety glasses, earplugs, steel-toe shoes, gloves).
  • Prioritize tasks and anticipate needs to effectively manage time to accomplish all tasks.
  • Housekeeping in the assigned area.
  • Perform all other assigned duties.

Work Environment

This is a non-climate controlled manufacturing plant, which can be dirty and loud. Proper PPE including safety glasses, earplugs, steel-toe shoes, and gloves is required.
