We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mortgage Loan Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will assist clients in navigating the mortgage application process, providing expert guidance and support to help them secure the best financing options for their needs. You will play a critical role in building relationships with clients and ensuring a smooth loan process from application to closing.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Consultation: Meet with clients to assess their financial situations and mortgage needs, providing personalized recommendations based on their goals.
Loan Application Processing: Guide clients through the mortgage application process, collecting necessary documentation and ensuring all forms are completed accurately.
Product Knowledge: Stay informed about mortgage products, rates, and industry trends to offer the best advice to clients.
Communication: Maintain clear communication with clients throughout the loan process, providing updates and answering questions promptly.
Collaboration: Work closely with underwriters, appraisers, and other professionals to facilitate timely loan approvals and closings.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all mortgage transactions comply with relevant laws and regulations, maintaining high ethical standards.
Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in mortgage lending, loan origination, or a related financial services role.
Licensing: Must be licensed or willing to obtain necessary licenses (e.g., NMLS).
Strong Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial information and assess risks accurately.
Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation and compliance.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with mortgage software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
