Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer Machinist to manage the programming, operation, and maintenance of CNC machines. Responsibilities include monitoring workflow, packing finished goods, ensuring quality control, making machine adjustments, and changing tools for job transitions. This role requires hands-on experience with CNC machinery, attention to detail, and a focus on maintaining high production standards.

Hours

2nd Shift and 3rd Shift

2:00PM - 10:30PM

10:00PM - 6:30AM

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, write, and modify CNC programs for various machining operations.
  • Set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring accurate and efficient production.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
  • Select appropriate tooling, materials, and speeds for machining operations.
  • Perform machine adjustments, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct test runs to ensure accuracy and quality of the programmed parts.
  • Collaborate with engineers and machinists to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of programs, setup sheets, and production records.
  • Ensure parts meet quality standards by using precision measuring tools and conducting thorough inspections.
  • Continuously learn and implement new CNC programming techniques and technologies.
