Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Responsibilities: This position involves handling all aspects of the safe management of incoming and outgoing shipments and inventory:
- Receive materials, confirm them against packing slips, and deliver to the appropriate location in the factory.
- Assist freight carriers with inbound and outbound shipments.
- Research alternative shipping carriers for cost-effective solutions.
- Maintain cleanliness in the parts work area, showroom, and parts warehouse.
- Perform periodic inventory cycle counts.
Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM-4:30 PM, Friday 7:00 AM -11:00 AM
Qualifications:
- Language Requirement: English (Required)
- Work Authorization: Must have U.S. work authorization (Required)
- Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience: Proven work history in warehousing, inventory control, order picking, and/or shipping operations (2-5 years of solid warehouse shipping/receiving experience).
- Skills:
- Ability to document records and communicate effectively.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with others.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
- Physical Requirements: This role involves some heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs, with assistance for heavier weights).
