Cleanroom Operator

Inspect medical products within a cleanroom setting while wearing a lab coat and glasses. This role is critical in ensuring the quality and safety of medical devices through meticulous inspection and adherence to strict protocols.
Responsibilities- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, procedures, and inspection sheets to complete inspections.
- Verify that measuring equipment is calibrated properly and alert the Supervisor or Manager if equipment validity is in question.
- Complete necessary paperwork such as data sheets, lab requests, and Non-Conformance Material Reports (NCMRs), either electronically or in hard copy.
- Conduct required read and record data sheets, first article inspections, or other documented inspections as necessary.
- Interpret sample size from a standard AQL (Acceptable Quality Limit) table.
- Utilize computers and basic Microsoft Applications for inspection documentation.
- Perform other inspection and/or production functions as required.
- 1-3 years of mechanical inspection experience using a wide variety of equipment and tolerances to at least the 5th decimal point.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, procedures, and inspection sheets.
- Proficiency in verifying calibration of measuring equipment.
- Experience in completing data sheets, lab requests, and NCMRs.
- Familiarity with computers and basic Microsoft Applications.
- Capability to perform first article inspections and documented inspections.
- Experience with quality assurance, quality inspection, and quality control.
- Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, blueprints, and microscopes.
- Experience in medical device assembly and production.
- Knowledge of cleanroom protocols and machine operation.
- Forklift operation experience is a plus.
Work within a cleanroom environment with stringent protocols to ensure product safety. The job includes various shifts: 1st shift (Monday – Friday 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM), 2nd shift (Monday – Friday 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM), and 3rd shift (Sunday – Thursday 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM).

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $21.00/hr.
