Position: School Social Worker
Location: Crete, IL
Employment Type: Full-Time (35 hours per week)
Hours: 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Caseload: 40 students (Grades 9-12)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated School Social Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide prehensive support to our students in grades 9-12, addressing their social, emotional, and academic needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group counseling to students.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and munity resources to support student well-being.
  • Conduct assessments to identify student needs and develop intervention plans.
  • Facilitate workshops and programs that promote mental health awareness and resilience.
  • Serve as a liaison between the school and external mental health services.
  • Participate in student support meetings and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs) as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records in pliance with school policies and legal requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a school social worker.
  • Experience working with adolescents in an educational setting is preferred.
  • Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of students and staff.
