Job Description

A liquid propane gas company is looking to grow their maintenance team with a Maintenance Helper on their 2nd shift.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with troubleshooting mechanical issues
  • Assist with troubleshooting basic electrical issues
  • Read and interpret prints
  • Assist the production team when needed
Essential Skills
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Basic understanding of troubleshooting
  • 1+ year of mechanical experience
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Entry-level maintenance or conveyor experience is a plus
  • Experience in construction or farming is beneficial
  • Electrical understanding is nice to have, but not required
  • Willingness to work outdoors

Work Environment

The work environment is a covered building with open doors, providing an outdoor feel. Conditions can be very cold in the winter and very hot in the summer, as the area is not climate-controlled. The shift runs from around 4 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Thursday. The team consists of 33 production workers and 2 maintenance technicians.
