Job Description
Onin Staffing is looking for a skilled Boiler Operator to join our team. As a Boiler Operator, you’ll be responsible for safely and efficiently operating boiler systems, ensuring smooth boiler processes and facility operations.
- Pay rate: $22-$33/hr
- 1st Shift: 6am to 6pm
- 3rd Shift: 6pm to 6am

Minimum Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of boiler operation or rendering facility experience.
- Valid Boiler Operator license/certification (per local regulations).
- Experience with 800-1500 hp boilers, Johnson Boiler, and Cleaver Brooks Boiler.
Work Experience
What You’ll Do as a Boiler Operator
- Start and operate various boilers, including water tube, coal, gas, and wood-fired boilers.
- Monitor and maintain feed water, boiler water, and treatment units.
- Manage daily chemical additions, oil temperatures, and fuel levels.
- Perform daily greasing and oiling, coal inventory, and keep work areas clean.
- Prioritize safety, ensuring compliance with company safety rules and regulations.
