Job DescriptionJob Description Fabricator

Responsibilities
  • Operate various sheet metal machines such as brakes, lasers, deburring machines, shears, notches, and turret punching machines.
  • Receive work orders and prints, and use shop calculations/math when necessary.
  • Work from complex drawings, prints, templates, and specifications.
  • Use a variety of machines, hand tools, and measuring instruments to cut and form pieces to required dimensions.
  • Use precision measuring instruments to check for accuracy.
  • Monitor machines at all times for proper operation.
Skills
  • Ability to fabricate sheet metal parts using machines such as brakes, lasers, deburring machines, shears, notches, and turret punching machines.
  • Skill in performing operations including set-up and machine operation.
  • Knowledge of shop mathematics.
