Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our finishing department. Responsibilities include basic packaging, kitting, boxing, operating a machine to print barcodes on valves, and shipping duties. You will help prepare rolls of barcode stickers for shipment to customers. Some tasks will involve shrink wrapping and basic production labor. Duties can be repetitive, but cross-training in different areas within the Finishing Department is provided. A strong attention to detail is essential for quality assurance. Performance is measured based on the ability to meet quota numbers for rolls packaged. During training, the expected average is 300 rolls, with regular employees completing 400 rolls and the top performer completing 600 rolls per shift.

Work Environment

Printing Company, very nice clean smaller company. Employees are taken care of and are given company-branded water bottles and t-shirts. They are encouraged to share ideas to help with lean manufacturing and hold drawings for suggestions, with prizes like flat-screen TVs. The workplace has recently undergone construction to include more natural light and an open floor concept. Work hours are 6am-3pm Monday-Thursday and 6am-12pm Friday. The dress code is casual, including t-shirts/sweaters, long pants, and closed-toed shoes. The position is open due to a long-standing operator returning to school. The pay rate is $18/hr.
