Job Title: Biergarten Manager

Job Description:
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Biergarten Manager to lead operations at a lively and authentic beer garden located in New York City. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management and a love for craft beer and outdoor dining experiences. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing a diverse team, and creating an inviting atmosphere for guests to enjoy food and beverages in a vibrant outdoor setting.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of the biergarten operations, including staff management, inventory control, and guest services.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures to ensure exceptional service and operational efficiency.
• Lead, train, and mentor staff, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
• Curate and manage an extensive beer selection, collaborating with vendors to offer a variety of craft beers and beverages.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns promptly to enhance the overall experience.
• Coordinate with the culinary team to create and execute a menu that complements the biergarten experience.
• Manage budgets, financial reports, and payroll, ensuring profitability and cost control.
• Plan and execute special events, promotions, and themed nights to drive traffic and engagement.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Bar Manager, preferably in a beer garden or similar concept.
• Strong knowledge of craft beers, food pairings, and beverage trends.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with a focus on team building and guest relations.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
