Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Food Processor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our food processing operations by loading raw materials, operating machinery, and performing quality checks.

Responsibilities
  • Physically load raw materials (spices, sugars, seasonings, etc.) into machines.
  • Keep logs (paper and electronic) of materials fed into the machine.
  • Operate machines to ensure products are processed for the correct duration.
  • Perform quality checks on products as they come out of the machines and are fed into containers.
  • Mix finished products and maintain the highest quality standards.
  • Prepare products according to established formulas while monitoring production needs.
  • Perform deck set-up for the daily schedule and operate equipment to aid in processing formulas.
  • Use local control panel to control the addition of all metered and manually added/weighed ingredients to mix and transfer batches.

Work Environment

You will be working in a food processing company with a team in a fast-paced environment. The work area can be wet at times due to machines being sprayed down by the sanitation/CIP team. Machines are constantly processing, so hearing protection must be worn, although there is only a dull hum in the processing bay.
