Litigation Counselor

About the Opportunity: Elgen Staffing is seeking a highly motivated Litigation Counselor to join our team in White Plains. Responsibilities:

• Litigate complex cases in state and federal courts
• Prepare and respond to initial pleadings, motions to dismiss, written fact discovery demands, and other related documents
• Analyze and evaluate evidence, identify key issues, and develop effective strategies for case resolution
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and goals, and provide expert advice on litigation matters
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders

Requirements:

• Admission to practice law in New York, with secondary admission in New Jersey a plus
• A minimum of three years of litigation experience, preferably with courtroom and deposition experience
• Excellent research, investigation, and writing skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Suite
• Juris Doctor degree (J.D.) from an accredited law school, licensed to practice law in New York
• Ability to build rapport with clients, work independently with limited oversight, and prioritize tasks effectively

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience
