Job Title: Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery

We are seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery to join our team at Planet Healthcare. As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Job Summary:

This Labor and Delivery travel nursing job is a 12-week assignment with 36 hours per week. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, providing care to patients in labor and delivery. Your responsibilities will include assessing patients, developing care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients in labor and delivery, identifying their needs and developing individualized care plans
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patients' conditions
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and other nurses, to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients
  • Document patient information, including medical histories, test results, and treatment plans
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Illinois
  • Experience working in labor and delivery, preferably as a travel nurse
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of adaptability and flexibility
