We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Transportation Electrification Analyst to join our team at Pacific Gas and Electric Company. As a key member of our Strategy and Policy team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing evidence-based clean energy transportation solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute innovative solutions to address grid constraints and enable the adoption of 3 million electric vehicles by 2030.
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop proactive grid investment strategies and engage with industry stakeholders to influence key decision makers and policy direction.
- Lead PG&E's response to regulatory proceedings at the California Public Utilities Commission and act as an expert on transportation electrification.
- Partner with key regulatory agencies, industry groups, and market players to develop strategies for infrastructure investment and data sharing.
- Develop executive-level materials and present findings and recommendations to senior leaders.
- Manage major cross-functional projects and initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, Finance, Sociology, Policy, Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- 8 years of job-related experience.
- Advanced degree in engineering, public policy, business administration, or environmental science/energy preferred.
- Experience in a regulated environment and subject matter expertise in transportation electrification desired.
