Position Overview:
As an Electrical Engineer at Pcmc Inc, you will be part of a dynamic team of over 1500 professionals across our multiple offices in the US, working closely with clients on projects that influence the environment around us.

In this role, you will collaborate with a team of industry specialists to assist leading companies in overcoming their most challenging issues.
You will engage with our A&E Practice and work alongside experienced leaders, technical experts, and subject matter authorities to deliver top-tier solutions to our clients with precision and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:• Provide electrical design services for advanced technology and semiconductor clients.
• Design power distribution, motor control, lighting, and grounding systems for industrial facilities in partnership with other licensed engineers and designers.
• Develop low (120V-480V) and medium (2.4kV-35kV) voltage electrical power distribution systems.
• Utilize Revit and AutoCAD to create construction drawings.
• Employ SKM and EasyPower to model electrical power systems and conduct short circuit, arc flash, and overcurrent device coordination studies.
• Use Visual software to design lighting for both interior and exterior environments.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors on new construction and renovation projects.
• Generate electrical design specifications and drawings.
• Participate in projects through the conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design phases.
• Present design progress to clients in both in-person and virtual settings.
• Review and approve contractor submittals and respond to RFIs.
• Conduct site observations during design and installation verification walks during construction.
• Work independently and in teams on multiple projects simultaneously to support capital projects and implement solutions for our clients.
• Attain licensure as a Professional Engineer upon fulfilling all NCEES examination and experience requirements.
• Provide electrical design services for all industrial markets in the western United States, including remote design support for various offices.
• Make a meaningful impact daily with your skills and expertise, enhancing relationships with our clients and team.Qualifications:
• A Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
• A minimum of eight years of experience in electrical engineering and design.
• Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam.
• Proficiency in Revit and a commitment to advancing to expert level.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and a willingness to enhance proficiency.
• Experience in the technical application of the NFPA 70 (NEC) building code.
• Strong written and verbal technical communication skills, including report generation and group presentations.
• Familiarity with the technical application of various building codes, including NFPA (30, 101, 110, 780), NESC, IBC, IFC, IECC, and ASHRAE 90 (preferred).
