Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct face-to-face tax interviews with clients to understand their tax needs and provide expert guidance.
  • Prepare and complete accurate tax-related forms, including multiyear, multistate, and year-end tax forms.
  • Provide clients with IRS audit support and answer tax-related questions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services to clients.
  • Support office priorities through teamwork and collaboration, and mentor and support teammates as needed.
Requirements
  • 2+ seasons of previous tax experience, with a focus on individual, trust, and/or partnership tax returns.
  • Passion for providing exceptional customer service and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Successful completion of the Jackson Hewitt Tax Knowledge Assessment and experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with a Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field preferred.
  • Field Instructor, Remote Support, or Call Center certification a plus, as well as tax planning and audit support experience.
