Responsibilities:
The Lead Medical Resident fulfills several essential roles and provides a variety of functions which fall into four primary categories: leadership, administration, education, and supervision.
The lead resident collaborates with the Associate Program Directors, Program Coordinator, faculty, and Clinic Manager as a member of the leadership team.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
- Successful completion/graduation from an ACGME accredited Internal Medicine Residency Program and is in good academic standing. The candidate must not currently be engaged in a Match agreement with another program.
- Active BLS and ACLS certification is required.
- Active Rhode Island Medical License.
- Applicant must be board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine.
