Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Pharmacist to join our team at Sam's Club. As a Staff Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive patient care to our members by processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, administering immunizations, and counseling members on their health care and prescription medication needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and accurately dispense prescription orders in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Administer immunizations to members as needed.
  • Counsel members on their health care and prescription medication needs, providing education and guidance on proper medication use and management.
  • Maintain confidential information, controlled medications, and required documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Model and enforce proper member service approaches and techniques to ensure member needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved within company guidelines and standards.
  • Ensure compliance with company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations for assigned areas by analyzing and interpreting reports, implementing and monitoring loss prevention and safety controls, and providing direction and guidance on executing company programs and strategic initiatives.
Requirements
  • BS in Pharmacy or PharmD degree or equivalent FPGEC (NABP).
  • Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
  • Completion of an ACPE accredited immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).
