As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure, ensuring the security and integrity of our systems.
Key Responsibilities- Network Design and Implementation: Design and implement local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and Internet systems, ensuring seamless connectivity and high-performance.
- Network Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor network performance, identify and troubleshoot issues, and perform necessary maintenance to ensure network availability and reliability.
- Security Measures: Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls, to protect against cyber threats.
- System Administration: Install, configure, and maintain software and hardware components, including routers, switches, and servers, to ensure optimal system performance.
- Technical Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including diagrams, reports, and procedures, to support installation and maintenance activities.
- Customer Support: Provide technical support to customers, including on-site surveys, installations, and audits, to ensure satisfaction and quality service.
- Education: Bachelor's or associate degree in a related field, such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of two (2) years' experience in a related field, with a strong background in network design, implementation, and maintenance.
- Certifications: DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification IAT Level II, such as CompTIA Security+.
- Clearance: Active United States Department of Defense Secret clearance required.
