Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Echo Technician to join our team at Methodist Hospital Northeast. As a key member of our non-invasive cardiology department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic cardiac exams, including echocardiograms, TEEs, and carotid imaging. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform echocardiograms, TEEs, and carotid imaging exams according to established hospital standards and practices.
  • Ensure proper equipment operation and maintenance, including troubleshooting and cleaning.
  • Accurately document patient information and exam results in accordance with hospital policies.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest medical technology and best practices.
Requirements
  • Registry eligibility for RDCS/RDMS-FE from ARDMS or RCS from CCI.
  • Completion of an Associate's Degree or two-year patient-care related allied health education program, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
