Ryder is seeking a dedicated SOLO Class A CDL Driver to join our team in Lafayette, IN. As a Ryder driver, you will be responsible for delivering SOLO freight within a 300-mile radius, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules
  • Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
  • Loading and unloading freight, or assisting in the loading/unloading process as required
  • Maintaining accurate records and logs
Benefits:
  • Competitive weekly guarantee of $1360
  • $0.51 per mile with 2500 miles per week
  • $10.00 per stop with 5 stops per week
  • $6.00 per drop/hook
  • Shutdown bonus of $2000 in 2 installments in the first year
  • Sign-on bonus of $1000 at 30 days and $1000 at 90 days
  • Safety bonus of up to $250 per quarter
Requirements:
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Pass a Ryder drug test
  • Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check
  • Pass a DOT physical
  • Pass a Ryder road test
  • Provide a valid Class A CDL and endorsements
  • 9 months of verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle within the past 3 years
