Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Transportation Analyst to join our team in Memphis, TN. As a key member of our Supply Chain organization, you will be responsible for analyzing complex business data, identifying opportunities for improvement, and driving strategic decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and interpret business data to provide valuable insights and recommendations
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and identify areas for improvement

  • Act as a subject matter expert and system administrator for key Transportation Management Systems
  • Conduct thorough business process analysis to identify areas for enhancement in operational efficiency or cost reduction

  • Assist in the development and execution of strategic initiatives
  • Provide input into business planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Engineering, Data Information Systems, or related field
  • At least 1-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on senior-level responsibilities
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, with an emphasis on current BI software
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in business analysis
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master of Business Administration
  • Experience in Manhattan TMS, Qlikview, PowerBI, Tableau, Yardview, Alteryx, Talend, and ETL software
  • Project management experience
  • Previous transportation experience

  • Able to bend, reach, squat, climb stairs/ladder
