Personal Care Nurse

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Personal Care Nurse to join our team. As a Personal Care Nurse with Aveanna Healthcare, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing personalized care to patients in need of nursing assistance.
**Responsibilities:**
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and individualized care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing effective care strategies to promote optimal health outcomes.
- Document patient progress and communicate regularly with physicians, family members, and other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions of care and maximize patient satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of patient interactions, including medication administration, treatment plans, and progress notes.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN).
- Current CPR certification and ability to provide evidence of continuous education and professional development.
- Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care policies and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Six months of recent experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting, preferably in home healthcare or pediatric care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build rapport with patients, families, and healthcare colleagues.
Estimated Salary Range:
$58,000 - $72,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
