About the Role:

The Registered Nurse provides high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced medical and surgical care unit under the direction of the Nurse Manager. The RN delivers care through knowledge of the nursing process and age-specific requirements, adhering to departmental and hospital policy and procedure.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver patient care using the nursing process and age-specific requirements
  • Follow departmental and hospital policy and procedure
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals

Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associates (ASN) with current BSN program enrollment or enrollment within 18 months of hire
  • Massachusetts RN licensure in good standing
  • BLS Provider credentialed by American Heart Association by first day of employment
  • Minimum one year of direct patient care experience as an RN strongly preferred
