Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team at Rebound Orthopedics & Neurosurgery. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Escort patients to exam rooms and assist with chart documentation.
  • Take vital signs and assist patients in navigating the clinic.
  • Prepare exam rooms and instruments for examinations and testing, ensuring a clean and organized environment.
  • Assist physicians and APPs with minor diagnostic procedures and treatments as directed.
  • Check appointment schedules and assist the call center with physician patient schedules.
  • Ensure lab reports, imaging, and other information are available to providers.
  • Issue out-patient materials and assist with patient instruction.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduate from a Medical Assisting program.
  • Valid Washington State certification to practice medical assisting or obtain certification within 6 months from hire if working in WA state.
  • One year of work experience, preferably in a clinic setting.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Experience working with electronic medical records preferred.
  • Knowledge of examination, diagnostic, and treatment room procedures.
  • Strong desire to provide exceptional patient care.
